I have taken it upon myself to create a dedication
page for Margaret Anderson, my grandmother.
Margaret is a mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Whatever you may call her to everyone of us she is a friend. Whether she is playing a game with you, cooking for you,
laughing with you, or just sitting around talking to you; you know that you are getting a chance to spend time with one amazing
person.
I know some of my favorite times are when we are playing gin and she starts
telling me stories. They may be stories of when she was growing up or about when her children were young, but they always
seem to teach a lesson. She is always making you think, whether its on a political issue or a religious issue or just
an everyday idea. Her thoughts are ones of great importance to me because she has experienced so many things in her
life. She grew up during the depression, has seen wars faught, political movements being made, seen sixteen presidents
take office, but most importantly she has had the chance to see her family grow right in front of her eyes. She has
given birth to eight incredible people, who have produced twenty-six children, which have begun to expand the family
now at the lucky number seven. This number will continue to grow as the Anderson family expands day to day, year to
year.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the most inspirational woman I
know, Margaret Anderson. She is a woman who can test your faith, make you fight your way through a political conversation,
make you use your abilities as being Mr. Fix-It by trying to fix things in her apartment. She can also make you laugh, make
you think, but most of all she make us all smile.
I leave this with you all, a piece of advice that my grandmother always
shares with me:
"Love God above all, and treat your neighbor as yourself."
We love you! Thank you for all you have done and all you do. God has blessed
you as he has blessed us all by giving us an angel for our family.
